How to Enjoy ON-SA

Your Ritual, Your Way.

Extracting the essence of roots, leaves, and stems is an art. While Kampo is traditionally slow-brewed, we encourage you to find the rhythm that fits your life.

1. Choose Your Brewing Style

  • The Deep Brew (Traditional): Simmer on medium heat for 30 minutes. This fully unlocks the medicinal oils and deep flavors for maximum potency. Please sip carefully, as it will be very hot.
  • The Daily Steep (Convenient): Place the tea in a thermos or teapot with boiling water. In just 15 minutes, the essential botanical oils will begin to infuse. Please sip carefully, as it will be very hot.
  • The Cold Infusion: Certain blends can be cold-brewed for a refreshing, crisp experience.
    • Pro Tip (The Daily Steep & The Cold Infusion): Don’t stop at one cup. Feel free to add more water throughout the day and enjoy the evolving layers of flavor.
    • Important Ritual (The Cold Infusion): Avoid ice-cold drinks, which can shock your gut. Enjoy at cellar temperature (around 60°F/17°C) or warm it in your mouth before swallowing to protect your digestive health.
